Demirosa Motto
For those who know the Demirosa Motto "if you live you live, if you die you die" will understand what happened today.
Showboat has been alone in his stall, which is an area of about 12 by 24. A nice size for a little guy. The problem is that everyone else gets to go out and enjoy the green grass and get away from the flies. Yesterday I went out and Showboat was laying down and he had flies all over his face. It reminded me of an African child!!
So today I opened his gate and let him out with all the other souls in the barn, Thunder, Cody, Berry, Megan, Ruby and Pickles. When I let him out it was "little guy, if you live you live if you die you die" I so hoped he would do okay and he did. He has been sticking with the others like glue. Thunder occasionally pens his ears when Showboat tries to suckle but has not been mean at all. Showboat has been has at Thunders hip all day. I am so pleased that it has gone well. The best part is I have been able to get hands on better than before. I'm wondering if I should put Thunder in Showboat's stall and pour milk in the trough and see if Thunder will teach Showboat to drink milk. (hummmm)
I'm going to let the eldest grandson write now.......i agree showboat has been feeling a little down lately. i think it was a good idea to let him out. he seems to happier today than yesterday. he looks very happy to be with thunder.
