New Friends
What a wonderful day! This morning while feeding the hummingbirds I saw a large deer go through our woods. It is so neat to see deer this time of year and from all the tracks we have a lot of them. I went out to do chores and got a call from a young man that wanted to come spend the day and make it a suprise for his wife. She likes animals and has always wanted to build a strawbale house. They needed to take the day off so I told them to come ahead.
Everything happens for a reason and today I made two friends and feel very blessed. I showed them the book of how we built the house and they were very interested. We took a walk around the Demirosa and saw chickens, milked goats, petted our horse, walked to the pond and to the vineyard.
They ate some goat milk cheese, drank goat milk and we made Zinfandel Wine Grape jelly. We talked about the Bed and Breakfast. I think they are coming back in August to spend sometime in the cabin.
