Pray for Rain!!
It's spring and the wind is blowing no rain in site. We haven't had rain here in it seems like months. Our ponds are drying up, the grass is slowly coming on.
The good news, SPRING, while I was milking this morning a Cardinal was singing a nice tune to keep me company. There are blooms on the trees with the promise of fruit later in the season. Every morning I see Geese leaving for the North which is another sign that spring is in the air. They sleep at a pond just south of us. When they leave in the morning sometimes they fly so low that I feel as though I could just reach up to touch them. Their honk is so loud. When you get several it is really loud.
Bad news, the snakes are out!! I hate snakes!!! What else is there to say!!
The cabin is really coming along. The real test is going to be next week. I have a friend coming and she is going to stay in the cabin. I hope she likes it and is comfortable. I may spend the night out there tonight just to see how it is!! That is me and the dogs!!
