I got the grandsons this weekend and what a great time we have had so far.  ******  

We got to swim Friday evening and it was so much fun!!  (a bit chilly but really fun)  burrrrrrr!!!!!!

This morning we went fishing at our  pond. (Hot and humid)  Poppy brought home fishing poles when he came home from work last night.  We really weren't sure we even had fish in the pond (?).  We just aren't bigger fishers.  Poppy got the poles together and put bait on the hooks and cast one into the pond.  He gave the pole to AJ and before he could cast out for TJ,       AJ had his first fish.   We got it reeled in and it was to small to keep so we threw  it back in.  We cast out another line and it only took a minute or two to get another fish. We caught ten fish but only one big enough to bring to the house. WE had a BALL!!!!  Have never had such good luck fishing at the pond!!!  Having so many little fish means that we have baby  fish!!!   We didn't have clue that we still had fish.  The pond has been down due to drought.  Didn't know if the fish could live through all the extremes.

Swimming in the afternoon and what a great time!!!  The three year old is a little fish!!! 

Later AJ helped my put the rest of the flooring in the cabin.  It's good to have young men around!!!  

Life lesson, after dinner, thankgoodness, looking out the window one of the cats caught a rat and was playing with/eating it.  Everyone has a job, even the cats.  (snakes, mice and rats) 

Watched the OU game and they won easily.   Now watching Texas, getting a bit worried but they started looking better right before half time.  Hope they keep it up second half.
