The vineyard made it through the freeze without to much damage!!  There was some frozen leaves but for the most part I think we did okay.    I believe the roses made it also. 

Looking out the door this morning I see four baby goats playing on a tree stump.  They have learned how to crawl under the fence and like to explore!!  Found them in the vineyard yesterday.  Have to get the gate's fixed so that won't happen again!!!! 

Starting our Summer hours this weekend.  I took the bed out of the cabin and turned it back into the store.  Have had several calls about our hours and am looking forward to opening the gate on Saturday. 

Yesterday a friend came over and we made cheese.  Next time she comes over we are going to make soap. 

Had more raccoon trouble this week.  Found one in the tree next to the chicken coop.  Pat took care of that one and then later that night another one tried to raid the cat food but it got away.  

The ducks just made it up from the pond.  They are VERY smart ducks.  They are still with us.  We had seven and are down to two but these two have been with us for months.  Between the raccoons and coyotes it's hard to keep them alive. 

Time to milk and feed.  HAVE A GREAT DAY!!
