Open the pool, plant the garden and get ready for spring!!!    I can take the plants outside and finally be able to see out my windows again!!    Yesterday when I went to the vineyard still no leaves coming out.  I bet this week brings them out.  We have had some moisture, you couldn't really call it "rain".     We need rain really bad, very dry!! 

The Tom turkey is getting bolder.  I have started taking my stick with me when I go into the chicken pen.  I think I liked him better when he was afraid of the rooster!! 

I cant' wait to get the pool opened!   I wish we had a heater!  It won't be long and we will be spending more time on the deck than in the house. 

I hope to plant the garden this week.  I also hope to be able to keep up with it.  The vineyard takes up sooooooo much time and energy!   I put the garden close to the barn and on the way to the vineyard so maybe it will call out to me and get the attention it deserves.
