I really thought that things would slow down after the festival, boy was I wrong!  We have been picking and taking grapes to the Farmers Market on Wednesday and Saturdays.  Today is the first day I have had to really start making jelly for the year.  I made Jalapeno jelly today.  Our friend gave us a lot of jalapenos and green peppers   jalapeno jelly is a real favorite! 

I got a break in the middle of my day when the grand kids came over for a swim.     

Then we had several people come over to look at the miniature horses and the buckboard I have for sale.  I don't think the miniatures will last long they are so cute!!  While the folks that looked at the buckboard were here we got a really hard rain shower.  It was GREAT!!! We needed the rain so badly.   Now things will start to green up again, if even for a short time....  WE'LL TAKE IT!! 

Tomorrow is grape jelly day.... First I make the grape juice and can that so I can make jelly whenever I need to with the juice.  It will be an all day job.  The neat thing is I can make jelly until I'm "jellied" out and when I need more jelly just open a can of our juice and make more.

Well it's time to cut the blackberry cobbler....yum!!
