Natures Way!!!
It all happened so fast! I looked for the bird nest I had found in the grapevines. As I leaned in and moved the vine.....A flutter and whoosh came from the nest. Quickly I looked in the nest and saw three little fuzzy babies. One had its beck wide open waiting for the next meal. I looked for the Mother and she was on the ground flapping her wings, unable to fly. I thought her wing was broken. As I moved toward her she kept running or flopping down the row of grapevines. It occured to me she was leading me away from the nest. So I left the vineyard.
I'll check the nest again in a day or two to see how the babies have grown.
A week to go before the Festival! So much to do.......Making lots of jelly tomorrow, Zinfandel Blush, Jalapeno and Blackberry.
Better get some rest!
